Mr. Jonathan Tsoi

"MEL training is very systematic and I learned many useful approaches to assess the effectiveness of our services, allowing us to provide strong and convincing evidence to funders."

Jonathan is the Senior Physiotherapist in Fu Hong Society. With a keen interest in knowing the effectiveness of their physiotherapy services, Jonathan joined MEL to learn more systematic approaches for conducting evaluation.

Ms. Phyllis Chau

"MEL provides us a very helpful mutual learning platform, which gave me opportunities to develop social networks with people from different organizations and with different backgrounds."

Phyllis is the Director (Long Term Care, International and China Programmes) of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation. Their organization will launch a large-scaled new project soon and therefore Phyllis would like to know more about how to plan, monitor, conduct, and evaluate a project systematically.

Mr. Gary Ho

"Four of us in the final project team have very different backgrounds. We all came from different NGOs.
This is one of the strengths of our team – having a stronger synergy in between!"

Gary is the manager of a new project which offers different training programmes for local NGOs, including some executive education and social innovation programmes, which aim to enhance NGO leadership. Since the project is a new one, he wished to learn how to evaluate their programme for service improvement.

Ms. Prissy Leung

"It’s really helpful to learn about some advanced communication tools, for example, the AirTable, in the training course!"

Prissy is the manager of a training center which offers different skill training to enhance the employability of their members. Her agency is now expanding the scope of services, and is looking for means to review their existing services systematically.
