When evaluating a program focused on the relationship between discrimination and cognition among older adults, consider the following five points:

Define program objectives: Clearly define the objectives of the program evaluation, specifying the desired outcomes related to the relationship between discrimination and cognition among older adults. Determine the specific dimensions of discrimination (e.g., racial, ethnic, or gender discrimination) and cognitive functions (e.g., memory, attention, executive functions) that you aim to measure.

Select appropriate measurement tools: Choose reliable and validated measurement tools to assess discrimination and cognitive functions. Consider utilizing established scales or questionnaires to measure perceived discrimination, such as the Everyday Discrimination Scale or the Perceived Ethnic Discrimination Questionnaire. For assessing cognitive functions, consider using cognitive tests or neuropsychological assessments.

Recruit participants and collect data.: Recruit a sample of older adults to participate in the evaluation. Administer the selected measurement tools to assess their experiences of discrimination and cognitive functions. Collect data on participants' experiences of discrimination, including the frequency and nature of discriminatory events, as well as their cognitive abilities in various domains.

Analyze and interpret data.: Analyze the collected data to evaluate the relationship between discrimination and cognition among older adults. Look for correlations, associations, or patterns that emerge from the data. Use statistical methods such as correlation analysis, regression analysis, or group comparisons to examine the relationship between discrimination and cognitive function variables.

Consider potential mediating and moderating factors: Consider potential mediating or moderating factors that may influence the relationship between discrimination and cognition. Explore factors such as stress, social support, or coping strategies that may mediate the impact of discrimination on cognition.

Hi, I realized that it seems the concept “outcome” is different from the term “output”. Taking the grandparent training project as an example, what is the “outcome’ referable?
