The program monitoring surveys the delivery of program outputs (the goods or services produced by the program) to the intended beneficiaries thanks to the inputs mobilized (financial and administrative). Whereas the evaluation is concerned with the examination of particular results and outcomes (effects or impacts the program induces) at certain stages in the life cycle of a program (mid-term, ex-post).
