It is an International organization with 700 partner organizations in developing countries throughout the world. Its goals are as follows:
To improve the quality of life of the world’s poorest persons with disabilities and those at risk of disability in the most disadvantaged societies;
To support and develop local partner organizations, rather than implement projects;
To transfer knowledge and skills, both professional and managerial, to contribute to development of these partners.
