As an extended program for Hong Kong older adults who go to mainland China, the GD scheme is well planned and conducted. Still, I wonder if there are barriers to such extension? For example, why can’t the payments of GD Scheme allowance be credited directly to the elderly applicants’ bank accounts in Mainland China?
