The community canteen services can improve older adults’ satisfaction with life and diet, and mental health status and enrich their social capital, but this still needs to be future evidenced. To examine the influence of canteen services on participants’ mental health, we plan to conduct a survey. Specifically, we will distribute questionnaires to all canteen beneficiaries and some others who never use such a service. In this way, those who do not receive canteen service can be a control group. So, is this an experimental design?
