We’ve all heard that pets are surrendered or discarded every day around the globe. Hong Kong has seen a massive rise in pet ownership. According to a 2017 report by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong, pet ownership surged by 72 percent from 297,100 dogs and cats in 2005-06 to 510,600 in 2015-16. Hence, our team hopes to initiate a pilot pet adoption project and build a pet-friendly community. And we would send questionnaires to residents through the mail. May I ask ways to improve the response rate?

In the topic of community development, it is clear that social inclusion is very important as being socially included means that somethings are present in people’s lives, such as being accepted (for who they are) within their communities, actively participating in the community. Therefore, I wonder, in the Hong Kong context, what kinds of groups might be the recipients of social inclusion services?
