Speaking of one-way ANOVA, it is about the comparison between the three groups at one time. What if we compare two by two, three times? Is it an acceptable practice?

Then if there is an anti-drug intervention and we want to know if it is effective. We recruit members and divide them into two groups, one is the treatment group, and another is the control group. Then we compare the mean scores of the two groups after our intervention. Is it called independent samples T-test?
